INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS

Marina Projects has delivered specialist consultancy services on several landmark international waterfront developments. Key projects include Porto Montenegro, where the company helped transform a former naval shipyard into one of the Mediterranean’s premier superyacht destinations. Another is Portonovi a €700 million luxury resort in Montenegro, where it advised on the marina and shoreline infrastructure. The company has also contributed to major luxury waterfront and resort developments across the Middle East, providing expertise through detailed site assessments to help realise ambitious client visions. In Asia, Marina Projects supported the development of Lantau Yacht Club in Hong Kong, a significant superyacht marina project that set new standards for marina design, capacity and operations in the region.

Within the UK, Marina Projects has been involved in a number of landmark marine infrastructure and marina developments. At Buckler’s Hard Yacht Harbour in Hampshire, the company successfully guided the reconfiguration and enhancement of the marina, balancing operational improvements with the sensitivities of its unique natural and heritage setting.

At Cowes Outer Harbour, Marina Projects supported the enhancement of marine infrastructure in one of the countries most renowned sailing destinations, helping to strengthen the harbours long-term operational capability and visitor experience.

At Windermere Marina Village, the company helped shape a significant development programme focused on supporting future growth, improving facilities and reinforcing the marina’s position as a premier inland boating destination.

Collectively, these projects demonstrate Marina Projects’ ability to combine strategic thinking, technical expertise and operational understanding to deliver successful outcomes for both clients and waterfront communities.

SUPPORTING INDUSTRY BEST PRACTICE

Most recently, Marina Projects has led the technical review, stakeholder engagement and drafting support for the modernisation of The Yacht Harbour Association’s Code of Practice, helping develop the new fully revised 8th Edition to reflect evolving industry standards, operational requirements and future trends within marina development and management.
