Marina Projects Ltd is seeking to recruit a Project Manager to support and develop its consultancy team based in Gosport, Hampshire, UK.
Marina Projects Ltd is an independent marina and waterfront development consultancy business working domestically and internationally. The consultancy provides a wide range of services to the marine sector with a particular emphasis on marina and property industries covering all aspects of marina design, waterfront development and operational management. With an expanding portfolio of exciting commissions and projects, we are looking for an experienced individual to take on a key role within the consultancy team. The successful candidate will make a full contribution to consultancy services and will be expected to lead on the delivery of projects from enquiry through to completion.
The experienced individual will ideally have a proven record of Project Management and delivery at all stages of a commission and will be proficient at developing and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships. The successful candidate will have an experience working in consultancy, will be well organised, an excellent communicator, both written and orally, who can work as part of a team or individually using their initiative as the task requires. Ideally qualified to degree level or higher in a relevant discipline, the individual may also possess training or accreditations from recognised industry bodies.
The role has the potential to span a wide range of industry disciplines from data analysis, masterplanning, market assessments and feasibility studies through to marine design, construction & operational guidance. As a result, the candidate shall be required to demonstrate an understanding of the maritime and marine leisure industry and apply themselves to a diverse portfolio of consultancy projects on the waterfront.
The successful candidate may be expected to represent the company at conferences, seminars or stakeholder events as appropriate. Working within a dynamic and progressive industry will require a willingness to learn and develop new skills as required. The role will involve report writing so a strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and complementary software packages is considered essential.
This is a permanent position based in Gosport on the edge of Portsmouth Harbour, but you will be expected to travel both within the UK and overseas as projects may dictate. As such a valid UK driving licence is required. The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
