Marina Project’s exhibited at the China International Boat Show as part of the BMF’s British Excellence showcase.
Assisted by funding from UK Trade & Investment, eight British companies took part in the showcase to demonstrate what the UK can offer the Chinese market.
34,822 people from 51 countries attended the show on the 11th – 14th April. The BMF had specifically produced the Excellence Guide in Mandarin which promotes BMF members and British Marine Industry Craftsmanship, Innovation and Design, and Marina Projects also had their Chinese Brochure available.
Jeff Houlgrave commented:
“Marina Projects presence at the show was a success enhanced by the hard work and efforts made by the BMF. It was a pleasure to be there with the others companies and this teamwork clearly shows what is possible when we work together. The translators were essential and enabled clear communication with the visitors. Marina Projects has some interesting leads from the show and are already working with some the contacts we made.”
Following the show, Jeff attended the Asia-Pacific Superyacht Conference at ONE 15 Marina Club. Held in Singapore by Informa, the event, on the 25th & 26th April, was specifically designed for organisations looking to further expand in the Asia superyacht market. An international line-up of speakers and panellists debated a range of topics and provided key market insights for delegates.
