We are pleased to announce the appointment of Assistant Project Manager, Christopher Doe. With a strong sailing background, BSc in Marine Geography, and several seasons aboard a superyacht, Chris further enhances the wealth of Marina Projects’ knowledge and experience, particularly within the superyacht sector.
While at Southampton Solent University, Chris’s BSc covered numerous topics including Marine Resource Development, Coastal Management, Ocean Policy, Coastal Zone Management, Coastal Defence Management and Geographic Information Systems. All of these are valuable points of reference for the Marina Projects’ service offering.
As well as working in the marine industry as a professional skipper and coach, Chris is passionate about sailing and water based activities. An active member of Poole Yacht Club, Chris has headed up the youth section over previous years, introduced new events and coached members at various levels. Previously a member of the GB Mirror squad, Chris now competes more regularly aboard race yachts over 30 feet.
Mike Ward, Director of Marina Projects commented:
“We are very pleased to welcome Chris to the Marina Projects’ team. We currently have several major international instructions at various stages of the development process, a strong order book as well as a continued flow of new enquiries. Bringing Chris into the team means we can continue to deliver the level of professional service that our clients have come to recognise as a core attribute of our service offering. With the attitude and approach that Chris has already demonstrated I am confident that he will make a real and valuable contribution to the team.”
