Emma Beagley, Project Manager (Environment)

Emma is an Environmental Scientist by training and has specialised in coastal and marine environment during her career. A keen sailor, she started her career in environmental and recreational education and moved on to work for the River Hamble Harbour Authority working on the environmental management of this diverse and busy estuary.
To date Emma has been involved in and led on a number of unique initiatives including strategic plans on local and regional levels, coastal partnerships, and consenting regime advice initiatives. Emma is trained in oil spill response planning and has extensive experience of waste management issues and co-ordination of area plans.
Emma brings to the team an in-depth and detailed knowledge of freshwater, coastal and marine issues. In addition, she has both commercial and regulatory experience of the marine consents process, with its complex legislative requirements, balanced with her practical understanding of environmental, ecological and chemical issues affecting the sector.
Since joining Marina Projects, Emma has provided specialist advice to the British Marine Federation and Royal Yachting Association. She also has input to the full range of consultancy projects and works closely with the rest of the team to ensure proposals are sustainable, environmentally deliverable and realistic!
